Evelyn Hinds

Evelyn Hinds is an actress, speaker, author and the founder of Arts Touching Hearts, Inc., a non profit organization committed to expressing the message of God’s love through the arts. Evelyn serves as a spokesperson for the Corrie ten Boom House and Museum in Holland. Evelyn has performed across the nation as well as internationally. For more than twenty years she has studied the life of Corrie ten Boom through her books, tapes and interviews with people who knew Corrie.

Evelyn is a life long learner and seeker of truth. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in English Language and Literature. Her love of the stage began when she landed a lead in a college play when she was seventeen years old. It would be thirty years before she donned a costume as her heroine, Corrie.  After that first performance as Corrie, Evelyn remembers, "The women who came to give me a hug and thank me had faces wet with tears. I knew God had used what I had done to touch their hearts. That experience was the fuel that ignited my passion for ministry.”

Corrie’s message that God uses all the dark threads of our lives to prepare us for the work we are to do for Him is at the heart of Evelyn’s passion. As a kindred spirit she shares Corrie’s message with conviction and power, “God has no problems with our lives, only plans!”
